Introducing the Grunt solider, a medium armour build character. This project started with the intention of being a main character, but a grunt solider appeared as in your average game there are the good guys you play but also the foot soldier that you shot down in the process. Starting from a base mesh which i imported into Zbrush to create a shape that i was was aiming towards his design took shape, his clothing was roughly created in 3ds Max and then brought into photoshop, In which 4 rough desgins were created .The process overall was quite new as i tried new techniques from character creations DVDs like Character Design and modeling for Next-Gen Games by Vitaly Bulgarov in which i learnt a lot from and hope to progress this skill set even more.
