Ethelwulf finished notes and Juggling two new character pieces.





So having Ethelwulf completed, I was happy with the overall development of this character. For a long time I avoided the texturing process due to not having much confidence/love at that stage. However this character I buckled down, finished the stage and saw the level I was at. Having seen what I can achieve, I know now of which level I am at therefore aim to push it further for my future characters.

Now I have started some hard surface characters, looking to understand/find a workflow to create this type of themed characters. Alongside I have join Polycount's character contest to create a character from Riot Game's League of Legends. Though I thought that I was able to block in the character without the under body and that this process was going to be easier. However I was wrong as this made more problems then solution. I have found that the process is not that very different in terms of the layering of the character with a general under body, then either armour or clothes. Though I had started to the character A, which I have named alien solider for the time being I have been using what I have learnt and projected the process onto character B named Project Akali. The knowledge has sped up my process, as I'm looking to learn more as I create these characters to a finished piece.
