The journey of ethelwulf


I didn't relies after completing the axe that Ethelwulf was at the stage to begin unwrapping but I'm glad its at this stage, as I get to work on texturing, faster and get better at it, Below are the previous version of Ethelwulf, I like the idea that I can look back on the progress of this character over the years, In all honestly I think Ethelwulf would've been done a long time ago if I didn't slack off, But nevermind on that the poly count is under 10k which was the requirment in the brief all those years back.

So after a long lazy period, the axe is done using the Xoliulshader which i haven't fully master but this link will do it justice http://xoliulshader.com/. Will like to invest in a game engine render so I can see the full out come of the future models. However for now the model is put on hold till the other part (main part) is complete so I refine both at the same time. The model stands at around 1,500 tris and the texture stands at 2048x2048.
